Wade's Corner
Wade Sweatman joined Delta Air Lines in 1983 and shortly thereafter discovered scuba diving. The combination of DAL, and
scuba provided adventures, challenges, and great friendships over the past 3 decades. Wade soon realized the adventures
were not limited to the greater ATL region: adventures awaited around the globe and the offered the opportunity to meet lots of great folks and dive in many exciting destinations. In 1995 Wade became a PADI Scuba Instructor. After 10 years and over 1,000 certified divers, he and his wife Selena opened a PADI Dive Center. Deep South Divers was founded on many of the same principles as the Delta Dive Club - share the lifestyle and adventure of diving. Deep South Divers (www.deepsouthdivers.com) has always supported the DDC. Wade and his staff attend DDC functions/trips offering training to club members and encouraging member support of the club. Club members receive preferential pricing on PADI training, equipment, and service.
